PRA has been assisting injured workers back to work since 1989 in our CARF accredited Work Hardening Program. Our Work Hardening Program is an interdisciplinary program for injured workers whose injuries interfere with their ability to return to work.
Work hardening provides a highly structured, goal oriented, individualized treatment program designed to progressively improve biomechanical, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, metabolic and psychological functions (when indicated) as a transition between acute care and return to work.
PRA builds each client’s rehabilitation program around the physical demands of their job. PRA’s Work Hardening Team will work together with the client, the employer, outside vocational professional, insurance company and the attending physician to prepare the client for a successful return to work. The Interdisciplinary Team assists the client in working toward return to work goals.
