Day Treatment Program:
The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center (BIRC) at PRA provides comprehensive rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injuries. BIRC is a CARF accredited program and has been a leading provider of rehabilitation services for adults with brain injuries since 1986. The BIRC program is multidisciplinary and offers a wide range of services.

Treatment Approach:

Transition Services...
The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center's (BIRC) unique Transition programs offer the ability for treatment to be tailored to meet the needs of clients before the start or after the completion of our Day Treatment program.
The Transition-In program is for clients who are about to start the BIRC Day Treatment program and need preliminary intervention in order to obtain a foundation of skills and strategies to support and optimize their participation in the full program.
Transition-In Program Focus:

- Transportation
- Day Planner Use
The Transition-Out program is for clients who have completed the Day Treatment program and need continued intervention at a lesser frequency and intensity in order to promote the generalization of skills and strategies to their work, home, and community environments.

- Adjustment
